Torrent Power Generation Limited’s (TPGL) ‘UNOSUGEN Project’ isa standalone power project with a capacity of 382.5 MW at its existing SUGEN Power Plant site. The project, called the UNOSUGEN Project, will increase the total generation from the SUGEN Plant site to 1530 MW when commissioned.

This gas based project has distinctive advantages. Natural gas has been found to be the best in terms of availability on a long term basis. Also, it is environment friendly with generation cost competitive.

The EPC Contract for the project was awarded to Siemens, AG of Germany. Jindal Severfield Structures Ltd (JSSL) has been awarded the contract to build 7 Steel Structures which will be used for various processes and storage in the project.
